Requirements: To be able to log in and use the app, a Primecall username and password are required.
It is recommended to install this app on mobile devices with Android version 11 or later installed.
Get Started on the App
Install the App
Navigate through your Android device's app store to locate and download the PrimeCall app.
The app can also be installed through:
- A USB connection.
- An Android debug bridge.
- A Wireless Android debug bridge.
- A microSD Card.
Sign in to the App
To get started in the app, sign in to the application with your Primecall username and password. To do so…
- Open the application.
✔ You should see the login screen.
- Sign in using one of the following methods:
- Use the Username and Password boxes to type in your Primecall credentials.
- If you have been provided with a QR code, touch Scan QR and point the camera window to scan the QR code.
Set Up Permissions
Once you are signed in, the application will require you to read and accept our terms and conditions. The app will also ask you to allow certain permissions. You can always make changes to these permissions and settings on your mobile device later.
- Touch Next on the Microphone permission screen.
- Select allow this softphone application to record audio using the microphone.
- Touch Next on the Phone permission screen.
- Select allow this application to make and manage GSM phone calls.
- Touch Next on the Contacts permission screen.
- Select allow this application to access the contacts on the phone.
- On the Fullscreen incoming call screen, enable or disable the Show full screen preview for incoming call (1) and then touch Next (2).
- Touch the Settings button on a dialogue box asking for permission to access the Display over other apps setting.
Note: Tap the Skip button to set this up later.
- Scroll through the list to locate this softphone application, and then tap it.
- Enable the Allow display over other apps toggle.
- Touch Back.
✔ The application screen should display the Keypad tab.
Check Your App's Registration Status
Upon successfully signing into this application, the icon showing your name should appear as light blue with a solid line. This will indicate that the app was able to register to your Primecall account.
The registration status of the app is also visible in the Notification panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notification panel and view the status.

Change the Display Language
By default, the app should be set up to display its information using the Automatic option, but this can be easily changed to fit your preference.
To change the display language:
- Touch the → → Preferences.
- Touch the Language option.
✔ A list of available languages will display.
- Select the language you wish to use.
- Restart the mobile device for the change to take effect.
