Forward Calls for Your Extension

Forward Your Calls

In some situations, it may be necessary to forward your calls to a telephone number. 

✔ This can be useful for forwarding calls to an answering service or your own cellphone.

Use Your Phone

Using your PrimecallVoIP-provided phone, you can enable/disable call forwarding by dialing Star Codes.

  • To enable call forwarding for a single extension, dial *72 and the telephone number you would like the extension to be forwarded to. 

    For example… *722148675309 would forward a PrimeCall phone to 2148675309.

  • To disable call forwarding dial *73 on the phone that has forwarding enabled.

Use the Enswitch Web Portal

To enable or disable call forwarding for your extension using the Enswitch web portal…

  1. Navigate to Features → Telephone lines.
  2. Click your 7-digit extension number.
  3. In the Forward to section, use the All calls, without ringing telephone, to number box to type in the telephone number that should receive these calls.
  4. Click the Save button.
  5. To later remove the forward, clear the All Calls, without ringing telephone, to number box and click Save.
