Placing a Call
Method 1
- Pick up the handset or press the Speaker key.
- Dial the number or press the line key associated with the speed dial of the number you would like to call.
- Press the Send key. Alternatively, press the # key.
Method 2
- Dial the number using the keypad or press the line key associated with the speed dial of the number you would like to call.
- Pick up the handset or press the Speaker key. Alternatively, press the # (send) key.
Answering Calls
When there is an incoming call for your phone, there are multiple ways to answer:
- Pick up the handset.
- Press the Headset key.
- Press the Speaker key.
- Press the soft Answer key that will show when a call is ringing on your phone.
Personal Hold and Resume
This will hold a call on your device only.
- While on an active call press the Hold key located on the right side of the phone.
- Press the same Hold key to resume the call before picking up the handset.
- The call can also be resumed by pressing the soft key labeled Resume.
Parking (Universal Hold)
Parking allows calls to be placed on Hold that can be picked up from other devices.
Method 1 - Dynamic Parking
- To place an active call on Park press *** during your call. Do NOT press send.
- The phone will place the call on the 1st available universal holding positions and announce the location. After hearing the destination, you can hang up your call.
- Calls can be retrieved on any phone by pressing the corresponding Park 1, Park 2, or Park 3 key.
- Alternatively, you can call the corresponding Park Number, 701, 702, or 703.
Method 2 - Static Parking
- To place an active call on Park press the Park button where you would like to Park the call. Park 1, Park 2, or Park 3.
- Available Parking Spots are noted with a green light. Red lights indicate a caller is currently parked in that spot.
- Calls can be retrieved on any phone by pressing the corresponding Park 1, Park 2, or Park 3 key.
Alternatively, you can call the corresponding Park Number, 701, 702, or 703.
Handling Multiple Calls
Phones are able to handle multiple calls at the same time by placing callers on Hold or Park.
This functionality may be different if calls are originating through a Call Queue.
- When an incoming call shows on your device, press a Park or Hold key to place your current caller on hold. Then press the soft Answer key to answer the second incoming call.
- If you do not want to answer an incoming call press the Reject soft key.
Transferring Calls
Method 1 - Supervised Transfer
This method allows you to speak with the person the call will be transferred to before transferring the caller.
- While on a live call press the Transfer key.
- The caller will be placed in a hold state and begin hearing the hold music.
- Dial the extension you want to send the call to.
- A call can also be transferred to a 10-digit external number if the call is being sent to a cell or off-net number.
- If you want to talk to the person receiving the transfer, wait for them to pick up and explain that you will be transferring a call.
- Press the Transfer key again to complete the transfer.
- If the receiving party does not want to accept the call, press the soft End Call key and then the Resume soft key to retrieve the original call from hold.
Method 2 - Blind Transfer
This method allows you to transfer the caller directly to another destination without speaking with that destination first.
- While on a live call press the Transfer key.
- The caller will be placed in a hold state and begin hearing the hold music.
- Dial the extension you want to send the call to. (Note: A call can also be transferred to a 10-digit external number if the call is being sent to a cell or off-net number.)
- Press the Transfer key again to complete the transfer.
Checking Voicemails
- Voicemails can be accessed by pressing the Message button on your phone.
- There will be audio prompts for you to navigate through the voicemail menu to check your voicemail messages and edit the voicemailbox's settings.

- Voicemail Notifications will occur in the form of an active Green Light on the button. You will also receive a notification pop-up on your screen.
